This site contains a collection of links to “projects” that we have become involved with over the past few years.  In the future we may also include links to some interesting places to go, or something different to do in Connecticut.

For right now, here are just a few links:

• American Diabetes Assocation - In 2002 we started a “walk team” for the ADA, and we are planning to repeat for 2003.  The ADA section has also been re-constructed for 2003, and you will find some relevant material there.  The 2003 walk date is already set for Sunday, October 5th.  Consider this an open invitation to join our Walk Team.  You can also find our personalized page on the American Diabetes Site for more information.
   
• Connecticut Beaches - These are some really old pages with information that was developed a long, long time ago when the site was first created. This section still gets a lot of visits, so we will be attempting to bring it up to date as well.  If you do check this out, be fore-warned that the information contained there may not be current.  Also, the information that you see is all the information that we have.  So if you send us email requesting more information about parking fees and such, be aware that we will politely not respond.
   
• Sock Hop Saturday Night - Mark Edwards is the host and DJ of this radio program that features “The Best in Pre-British Invasion Rock and Roll Oldies.”  This is one of the few radio programs that you will find that does not specialize only in the Top 40 or even the Top 100 hits.  While those favorites are available, there are many, many other songs in the Sock Hop Record Collection.

  Mark and Executive Producer, Larry O’Neill, stand by the controls every (almost) Saturday Night to take your requests and dedications.  This show is unique in the fact that the people that call in their requests are the people that “program” the show.  Outside of an occassional special event or interview, the music that you hear is requested by fans of the show.  The show is also simulcasted by a group of fans located in the “SockHop” chat room listed under the music section on the PalTalk.com web site.  Dedicated fans can order their Sock Hop T-Shirts here.

• In Harmony - Billed as New England’s Premier Doo Wop Vocal Group, this group really is one of the best that New England has to offer.  With many credits under their belt, such as an appearance at The White House, and performing the National Anthem at Shea Stadium, you can bet on having a great time when you attend one of In Harmony’s concerts.  They are going to be releasing a new CD soon, and can find their current concert schedule right here.
   
• Larry's Luscious Lemon-Lime Liquidation - Fresh-squeezed lemonade has long been a Summer-time favorite for cooling off everyone.  This Summer I decided to come up with a good recipe of my own.  It only takes about 5 minutes to whip this up, so give it a try.
